The December edition of our newsletter focuses on giving and sharing, which is not just for Christmas. As tenants you have supported your neighbours by donating to their fundraising and by cooking for each other; while others of you have shared their expertise and creative passion, which resulted in the first exhibition at Bootstrap for a long time – with more planned.

The Feathered Tree
As we mentioned before one of your charity neighbours (OUTpatients) has worked with Lowe H Seger to run a series of photography workshops for their members and beneficiaries.
This work culminated in the group show ‘ The Feathered Tree’ which we hosted in the newly resurrected Print House Gallery – or reception as you know it. We have held many events and exhibitions here in the past and next year we will be continuing to programme more.
Please contact the team with any of your thoughts or plans for the space.
‘The Feathered Tree’ exhibition continues until the end of the month.

Tenants Lunch
Eat Club hosted our November tenant lunch at our new CoLab space. The team and helpers prepared a wonderful squash and pumpkin gnocci with pesto and salad. We will be working with Eat Club in the New Year to run evenings and events with their young people. Please watch this space as we ask for your collaboration.

Oliver Witts Marathon Fundraiser
Oliver Witt of Cake Architecture recently completed 2 marathons – in Berlin and Chicago. He did all this to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, and he wants to acknowledge the generous contributions of his fellow tenants – notably Hugh from Office S&M and Steve Ryan from 40FT. In all Oliver raised over £3,000.
Ever committed to the cause, Oliver will next be running 12 marathons over 12 months to raise money for CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably).

Donation Drive
This year we will be asking for (non cash) donations to support your charity neighbours in the lead up to Christmas.
We will be accepting clothing, toiletries, food items & children’s toys. And share more details at the end of the week. Thank you.

Community Bike Hire
ZEN has launched a new public cargo bike in Dalston Square. The scheme, known as OurBike, gives businesses and residents access to a means of carrying more than they normally would on their bike.
